Island Way turns carefully selected fruit into delicious frozen treats that are paradise in every bite. I helped Magnetic Creative with a few homepage design concepts.
Challenge
How do you redesign a frozen treat's website to make it more "tropical" while still remaining clean and easy to use?
Solution
I explored several variations, each maintaining the brand's identity while showcasing its own unique personality.
Here's how i did it
First concept
I focused on an open layout, fun imagery, and lots of tropical accents to really push this concept. The feature is a simple text overlay, but the video of waves in the background really add a feeling of an island vacation.
Second Concept
This direction is a little cleaner and more structured. The layout is much more segmented, with clear distinctions between each type of content. There is still punches of tropical accents throughout the design, but this has a bit more of a corporate feel.
Third Concept
The final concept is a blend of the first and second concepts. It has a modern feel, with the bold type and imagery adding a lot of personality.
